We all went to Jesse's graduation last night and oh boy were we excited...It turned out to be a really nice night...they had a excellent talk given by president Clark and he talked about how if there is one thing he wants the graduates to remember it is not to let the world get into your heart and to always keep your homes a house of the Lord and be of service to others....it was really good and then president Uchtdorf talked also .....and he talked of how to keep the mind continually learning....weather it be with this gosple or to further an education....it was a nice night at graduation for us!!! Then we went out at ate at Perkins with Jesse's parents and his sister Katie and her date Ceaser! Jesse was excited to be graduated....he starts working for the USDA January 5th... CONGRATS hunny I LOVE you and job very well done you have worked hard and I am so proud of you for it...it is very much appreciated.

This fish was 27 inches long and 9 1/2 lbs. It must have been his lucky day! Then later me and Jess and the rest of his family went to Johnny Carinos and Jesse got to open his b-day presents! It was a lot of fun and I am so glad he had fun on his day! Happy Birthday hunny....you can do your happy dance now....come on you know you want to !:) I LOVE YOU!

We also had my uncle Blaine and his new wife Kristy with us .....it was a lot of fun and I want to say Congrats to my uncle Blaine and his wife Kristy! Its always a tradition to play games and cards at my parents house after thanksgiving dinner...so we played for hours and some of my sisters friends even came over to play ...the more the merrier!!!! Fishing

Jesse went fishing with his friend one night after work and had a blast catching fish...in fact he had so much fun that he didn't come home until 5:OO am...yes....in the morning....he says he lost track of time...I guess this is what happens when your having fun he says! :) I just laughed! The first picture is a picture of his hybrid that was 20 inches and 4 1/2 lbs. The second picture you see was cutthroat that he had to release but it was 22inches long and 5lbs. I think he had a tough time throwing that one back into the water! :)

Update
Well, I just felt the need to update the blog...so here I am...I'm not the best at keeping updated with this....I always seem to put it on the back-burner and talk myself into doing it later. Anyways both me and my husband have been busy. Jesse is just finishing up with school and graduates from BYUI on December 12th... we are both stoked!!!! Maybe things will settle down a little bit and we can see a little more of each other! :) Who knows I may even have to take up a new thing called "cooking dinner for two." He has been working as a SCEP (student career employment opportunity) for the NRCS all over the surrounding areas for the last 3 years and has learned a lot of things concerning conservation of the land....don't ask me all the details...he tells me all the technical terms and projects he has done, but most of it is all confusing to me.....that's hard for him to comprehend knowing that I was raised on a farm! :) After going to school he then goes to work till about midnight some nights at Corporate Express and has done this for many years, so it will be a nice change when he graduates to not have to stay up until early morning hours studying and doing homework. He has been guaranteed a position as a soil conservationist working in Idaho Falls, which is an answer to our prayers because he could have been placed anywhere in the states! I want him to know that I love and appreciate all of the hard work he is doing and we both know that it will all be worth it in the end!! He has always been such a hard worker and I love him for it! I have been busy with work at the dental office and keeping up with the house and trying to drop a few pounds before the holidays....but aren't we all... so we will see how that one turns out. I went to the doctor and he seems to be one hundred percent sure that I am insulin resistant...I already have thyroid problems and am on a medication for that so I really want to keep my weight down as much as a can....I am a little unfamiliar with the whole insulin resistant thing...the Dr. put me on a diet of only 30 carbs per meal and only 15 carbs per snack....well there goes my breads, pastas and potatoes out the door! That's going to be hard.....I have a question....if any of my cousins are reading this...I know that the Searle side has struggled a little with insulin problems and I want to know the effect on trying to get pregnant....I hear it is really tough if you have insulin problems! Are you on any meds? We want to start a family sooner that later and this has got me a little concerned! Anyway if anyone can give me a little advice that would be great! For the most part life is good me and Jesse are doing fine and most importantly seem to have his heart problems figured out.....no more chest pain and he is now on a medication and it seems to be working well! It is so nice live near family and have the support and advice...thank you to everyone for all you do! Hunting season, for us is coming to an end, but there is always next year to look forward too! Jesse went fishing today during his 2 hour break between his classes and caught a nice brown...I will have to post a picture later...he bought a new fillet knife and we are both wanting to see how this works out....we may have to take notes from his brother Nick, but are wanting to try it out ourselves! Its so nice to be able to live so close to the mountains....it seems that's where me and Jesse love to do most of our unwinding! Its great! Well.....consider this an update:)....... we hope all is well with everyone and we are both looking forward to the holidays! :)

A man's thoughts
Last Saturday I found myself in the hills, it was cold and I could see my breath. As I laid there waiting for the sun to rise, I thought of Gods creations. I thought to myself God must have a great eye for color and beauty. I watched the sun rise slowly and saw the mixes of reds to orange to purple to blues. This was a scene I have seen before, but I was still amazed at the beauty that was there, and the peace I felt. The peaceful feeling might just have been my heart settling from the mountain I had just climbed, but I think it was something else entirely. What wonders one can see around us, and how blessed are we to see them and enjoy them. I have seen many of Gods creations this fall, canyons, animals, sunsets and rises. Some of which I have enjoyed with my wife, and others with friends. How blessed am I, to have seen these wonders and shared them with those I love. I am blessed with a loving wife and family. I look back on all that I have been through my heart problems and the stress I have caused my family and my poor wife, I can't help but be grateful. They are always there to support me and to be by my side even through the low points. God has truely blessed me, more than I deserve.

Fall season
Me and my husband love this time of year! We love to be in the mountains with the trees changing colors and most of all we cannot forget about HUNTING SEASON! This last weekend we went on a a hunting trip to swan valley to hunt elk....it was absolutely beautiful up there...It was a lot of fun to get away for the weekend! Jesse's grandma and grandpa Pasley let us stay in a club house that they have up there for family to stay in...and it was so nice to come back to some place warm and dry out our clothes from all the rain! We had a lot of close calls on bringing an elk home with us, but our first encounter was a small two by two (which by the way caught me by surprise and almost made me pee myself) and one other that was just in reach but I guess you could say not in a close enough reach to be in our truck:) Its too bad we didn't have a little bit more snow up on top to help bring the big ones down to us...but there is always deer season and next year to look forward too! We had a lot of fun hiking and seeing so much beautiful country!
This is the cabin that we got to stay in! It was so nice having some place warm to go back to:)

This is my new camo outfit I had bought a few things last year but this year I have the whole outfit complete now.....but I found out quickly this year that I really need a pair of gators so that the bottom of my pants are soaking wet when in rains! And.....big news...I am going to take hunters safety and get my hunting licence online...it will be fantastic...I just told my husband...."don't worry I already know....If its brown its down!" he just laughed...anyways wish me luck! :)Posted by Jesse and Jessica at 7:00 PM 5 comments

I'm gonna party like it's my birthday!

My birthday was on the 18th of Aug. and yes I was spoiled.....I wasn't expecting to be this spoiled this year....being that I was out of town the weekend of my special day! My great hubby took me to Lagoon with a few friends and we all had a blast ...we stayed in Utah for a few days spent one whole day at Lagoon and stopped at the great Cabela's store before returning home....So I thought that we were done with the celebrating, but I was wrong. Monday at work my mom took me out to eat and gave me some good ol' birthday balloons and some cash which is always NICE! Thanks mom and dad.....I love you!!it was very much appreciated! Thanks to everyone at work for the snickers b-day cake (yummy :) ), flower and nice card!Love you guys! I got all kinds of great gifts from my husband and his family as you can see below....thank you to everyone for all of the wonderful gifts...I totally did not expect all of this and Thank you for making my day so special!
My husband surprised me by showing up at my work at the end of the day and wanted to take me out to Ruby River.....we made the mistake of telling the girl at the entrance of the restaurant that it was my birthday.....first thing they ask you is if you are here for any special occasion....don't tell them anything ....or it just might be you wearing the big fatty cowboy hat!....but they did give me a free dessert so I guess that kinda makes up for it! Thank you hunny for such a wonderful birthday....I love you and loved spending time with you on my birthday! :)
This is just a picture that my work had given to me because they no longer were in need of it.....so I asked if I could take it off of their hands..... Me and my husband had painted the frame black...and now we just need to hang it up! I think it is just fan-tab-ulous! :)

Camping in Stanley!!!
We went on a camping trip with my family a couple days ago and were able to stay in these beautiful mountains for a few days....we had so much fun I don't think either one of us wanted to come home! We did a little hiking, four wheeling, games, and of course a ton of fishing! Me and Jesse actually fished in a teeny tiny blow up boat just to get to some of the better holes on some of the lakes....oh it was hilarious I was laughing so hard at ourselves I probably scared away most of the fish, but we looked so dang ridiculous I couldn't help but laugh... tying to cast your pole was a trick in and of itself :)I will have to get a pic from my sis to show ya'll!
One of the funnest parts of camping for me is to see the wildlife....we get up early in the mornings to start our hikes and it always amazes me how much wildlife we see up there..... me and Jesse took this picture on our way back to camp from the store...we happened to see a lot of elk while we were up there....lets just hope that the wolves don't change that for us next year! I think I would be perfectly content living in a place like this... its just beautimous!
SMORES! SMORES! and more SMORES! gotta love them!
Me and my sis sitting by the campfire getting ready to eat yummy tin foil dinners!

Finally got to the lake on four wheelers....mind you we just ate dust for an hour or so....Poor Jesse....I think he was missing his motorcycle the whole hour....he claims he would have flew past the four of five riders in front of the family going a turtle speed of 6mph...I think everyone was hoping they would pull over and let us pass but we were wrong....instead they kindly decided to feed us there dust for 45 min.!! Thanks to Matt and Miss....for making the first bold passing move on the narrow road....flew past them in their own little brown fluffy cloud of dust allowing everyone else to follow! :)

Here are a few pictures of some of the places that we hiked too! My dad I think wins the award for the best mountain man!....that guy should be a mountain goat! Steep mountain sides don't seem to phase him at all, he is like the energizer bunny that just keeps going!
