Everyone is so happy for them and we were all excited to be able to watch Jami go through for the first time! This was my first time ever going to the Rexburg temple....me and my husband missed out on the open house....so it was kinda neat to do a session with the whole family! Happy Thanksgiving
Me and Jesse had a fun Thanksgiving.....we ate at my parents house at a full table of family! This year my aunt Debbie and uncle Stan had thanksgiving dinner with us...they are currently serving a mission in California and had the oppotunity to come home for a wedding during the thanksgiving weekend! We also had my uncle Blaine and his new wife Kristy with us .....it was a lot of fun and I want to say Congrats to my uncle Blaine and his wife Kristy! Its always a tradition to play games and cards at my parents house after thanksgiving dinner...so we played for hours and some of my sisters friends even came over to play ...the more the merrier!!!! It was a blast!!!

Fishing

Jesse went fishing with his friend one night after work and had a blast catching fish...in fact he had so much fun that he didn't come home until 5:OO am...yes....in the morning....he says he lost track of time...I guess this is what happens when your having fun he says! :) I just laughed! The first picture is a picture of his hybrid that was 20 inches and 4 1/2 lbs. The second picture you see was cutthroat that he had to release but it was 22inches long and 5lbs. I think he had a tough time throwing that one back into the water! :)

Update
Well, I just felt the need to update the blog...so here I am...I'm not the best at keeping updated with this....I always seem to put it on the back-burner and talk myself into doing it later. Anyways both me and my husband have been busy. Jesse is just finishing up with school and graduates from BYUI on December 12th... we are both stoked!!!! Maybe things will settle down a little bit and we can see a little more of each other! :) Who knows I may even have to take up a new thing called "cooking dinner for two." He has been working as a SCEP (student career employment opportunity) for the NRCS all over the surrounding areas for the last 3 years and has learned a lot of things concerning conservation of the land....don't ask me all the details...he tells me all the technical terms and projects he has done, but most of it is all confusing to me.....that's hard for him to comprehend knowing that I was raised on a farm! :) After going to school he then goes to work till about midnight some nights at Corporate Express and has done this for many years, so it will be a nice change when he graduates to not have to stay up until early morning hours studying and doing homework. He has been guaranteed a position as a soil conservationist working in Idaho Falls, which is an answer to our prayers because he could have been placed anywhere in the states! I want him to know that I love and appreciate all of the hard work he is doing and we both know that it will all be worth it in the end!! He has always been such a hard worker and I love him for it! I have been busy with work at the dental office and keeping up with the house and trying to drop a few pounds before the holidays....but aren't we all... so we will see how that one turns out. I went to the doctor and he seems to be one hundred percent sure that I am insulin resistant...I already have thyroid problems and am on a medication for that so I really want to keep my weight down as much as a can....I am a little unfamiliar with the whole insulin resistant thing...the Dr. put me on a diet of only 30 carbs per meal and only 15 carbs per snack....well there goes my breads, pastas and potatoes out the door! That's going to be hard.....I have a question....if any of my cousins are reading this...I know that the Searle side has struggled a little with insulin problems and I want to know the effect on trying to get pregnant....I hear it is really tough if you have insulin problems! Are you on any meds? We want to start a family sooner that later and this has got me a little concerned! Anyway if anyone can give me a little advice that would be great! For the most part life is good me and Jesse are doing fine and most importantly seem to have his heart problems figured out.....no more chest pain and he is now on a medication and it seems to be working well! It is so nice live near family and have the support and advice...thank you to everyone for all you do! Hunting season, for us is coming to an end, but there is always next year to look forward too! Jesse went fishing today during his 2 hour break between his classes and caught a nice brown...I will have to post a picture later...he bought a new fillet knife and we are both wanting to see how this works out....we may have to take notes from his brother Nick, but are wanting to try it out ourselves! Its so nice to be able to live so close to the mountains....it seems that's where me and Jesse love to do most of our unwinding! Its great! Well.....consider this an update:)....... we hope all is well with everyone and we are both looking forward to the holidays! :)
